what have i been doing?

my last post was in October and right now we're in the midst of December. i've never been busier and i've never been more glad to actually make use of my spare time during the day. hah!

one of the highlights would be that i played at the World Cup Asia Paintball Tournament, and for a 2 month old team we managed to beat 4 teams in our group

in december i celebrated my birthday, was really sweet to get a surprise, and of course, really sweet to get my face smashed on my b'day cake for the second year running

and also just recently i hosted CHS's prom night which i think is the best prom i've hosted so far throughout my career

i think i will visit this website (i think i should since its mine) more often from now, there are jsut a lot of things that i would like to share with you, the reader of course. Merry Xmas and a happy new year should i not blog for the next 2 weeks :)

When is it too much?

you know sometimes i find it pretty weird writing down your personal stuff here on the world wide web for the world to see, but then again, i think its something a lot of individuals out there share in common as well.

its been a pissy day or should i say past few days as matters pile up on top of one another and you're bloody hell trying to fix things but your pillars of support aint there to help you out. when is it too much before you cut someone off because they lied?

BLG and Tyson's msg to Malaysia

yeah so the boys invaded the studios last Thursday. once again they're an awesome bunch, Martin's pretty crazy in his own unique way, John's the blur one, Bryan's the well composed one and Paul looks like your guy next door. oh btw Martin calls durian 'toilet bowl ice cream'.

there was one point of time i was wondering why Paul was staring at our whiteboard in the studio

Boys Like Girls

Boys Like Girls came into the studio today, second time meeting up with them, the first was when they were down here during the MTV World Stage and we were chillin at Borneo Ink while they were getting their tattoos done

Awesome bunch and really appreciate it that they took time off to chill out on the Hitz Party, here are some pictures to share, can't wait to catch them live tmrw! apparently they're going on at 12.15am, so after my show i'm rushing down to KL!

Dye's New Paintball Marker review

ok Dye Paintball just released a brand new marker, and it is so sick! and it doesnt help when you have a list of paintballers on your msn poisoning you to get it. i think i'm gonna start my Dye NT fund, anyone willing to contribute? (yes i'm that cheap, live with it!)

and here's some dude doing a review on it, i found the whole video pretty hilarious, especially the ending (i wont spoil it for you) haha, but if you aint a paintballer, dont bother =.=

Sydney Sky Turns Red

People in Sydeny, Austraila woke this morning to see a deep reddish haze unlike anything they have ever seen before. And weather experts are amazed as well!

But how can this be?!

Bureau of Meteorology senior forecaster Jane Golding says that the color comes from an exorbitant amount of dust that has collected in the area, saying:

"The reason for the dust is we had some really strong winds in the inland areas of NSW and in South Australiafor a sustained period yesterday. That's lifted a whole lot of dust off the ground because it's quite dry out there, many of those areas are still drought affected…I've not seen anything like this before."

Photoshoot Over the weekend

over the weekend i got together with a bunch of friends who recently set up a new photography studio to have a little shoot since its about time i used my damn camera which has been sitting in the closet for a long time now (my mom was making so much of noise as to why i wasn't pursuing my 'back then' hobby anymore)

their studio setup was pretty neat, simple and neat which could possibly get you what other studios get you, here are some pictures to share

Giant Robotic Teddy Bears: Japan’s New Nurses?

What’s the best way for a country with one of the most rapidly-growing elderly populations to deal with staffing shortages in the medical industry? Well, obviously you would need to invent a giant robotic nurse, and it would naturally have to look like a teddy bear.

if you ask me, i would rather have a Japanese female nurse attending to me if you know what i mean
Is it cute, or is it creepy? i think its down right weird, it'll possibly give a heart patient a heart attack more than anything else

My New Addiction

i've got a new addiction (no its not what you think it is, or that! your pervert! haha). I have my friend Kevin to thank for inviting me for a game of paintball a couple of weeks back. while all of us were using the Paintball Markers provided by the facility, he brought his own, basically pwning everyone in sight. with the world wide web and particularly YouTube, i was hooked!

After approximately 2 weeks of research (wow i like how i make myself look so intelligent when i'm not), and poisoning from other friends, i and along with 2 other friends invested in our very own paintball marker. i give you, the Proto Matrix Rail 2009 from Dye Precision

Lady Gaga in Singapore

i'm back! yes, back to blogging! here's what i've been up to lately particularly Lady Gaga's showcase in Singapore. She's an awesome performer i gotta say so it was worth the trip. The TV interview with Lady Gaga will be on Astro Hitz soon, so make sure you follow me on twitter and i'll be sure to tweet about it. I bet a lot of questions will be coming in asking, "how's Lady Gaga?". She is very friendly and she will never turn her fans down for an autograph or a picture opportunity, only her management would. So the next time you get turned down for an autograph or a pic with Gaga, blame her manager! haha

i think its about time

Yeah i think its about time i updated this page again. it has been ages since i last posted something and the very main purpose of this blog was to showcase what i do for work. but i guess t could be more than that right?

i'm actually hoping to get this blog up pimped up, hopefully i can get someone to do it for free! haha. yes i'm a freeloader if you didn't know. MTV Asia Awards Performance Videos

MTV Asia Awards

A couple of days ago i was at Genting for the anticipated MTV Asia Awards. First time here in Malaysia it was definitely a must go! so many acts under one roof, what more can you ask for?

Was covering the event for hitz but due to security, you were not allowed to take pictures while you were in the press room and also inside the show hall. But i did manage to take some pictures at the red carpet though. here are some to share

DAUGHTRY Live in Malaysia

So Chris Daughtry was in town to perform for the Sony Ericsson Traffic Jams Street Party. Its really exciting to finally see your American Idol whom you previously supported (but got kicked out) finally make his way to our Malaysian shores.

The whole Street PArty accomodated about 3,000 people and the only way in, was through invites and of course through hitz.fm. The only bitch about the concert was that the fact that it was raining but i guess that didn't come between the fans and the band.

Attended the Press Conference which was at One World Hotel

Among all the questions thrown at the band, there was one question which was asked to Chris

Question: You were able to work with one of the best Guitarist in the world and that is former Guns N Roses guitar legend, Slash, what was it like working with him?

Chris: I was disappointed really, mainly because when i met him he was wearing a baseball cap and his fro or big hair was gone, i was really expecting him to be in a Top Hat like how he usually was on stage when performing.....wait that doesn't quite answer your question doesn't it?

The whole band was very down to earth despite being known to be a Grammy Nominated, AMA Awards winning band who sold over 4 million albums in 2007. Now for some concert pictures

Its Been Too Long!

Yes it has been too long since i last posted here, maybe because i have another blog site which is the station's blog site which i have to upkeep every now and then, and not to mention that we have to watch what we post and stuff like that (you get the picture)

Joining the hitz.fm team was really overwhelming for me and if you think having the gift of the gab seals you the job, well that's only partial of the whole entire process ;) I am still taking loads of pictures, hoping to post them up here for your viewing pleasure. why not i just do it now?

quite recently i went for the Japan GT, not for the race but for the babes of course;)

let's see what else have i been up to since i joined hitz. Ah yes, upon joining Jin The MC came down to Malaysia for his promotional tour. If you would backtrack on this blog, he has been here before and this was the second round and he heard me on air. I remember Rudy coming up to me and telling me

Rudy: Jin, Jin the MC just called man, he says he wants to battle you for the name 'Jin'. There's only one room for Jin in Malaysia and its gonna be him

and of course, that battle did happen

i have met a lot of artistes and stuff like that. Done a few interviews and all that, and i think i'm really enjoying myself at this point. Do tune in to my show once in a while if you have the time aight? 92.9 in the Klang Valley, i do the Hitz Top 30, 1pm to 4pm weekdays
